- Fort Hood Gym
In March of 2009 E.G Sierra completed a multi-million dollar project located at Fort Hood, Texas. This project was a complete renovation of a previous gymnasium and racket ball facility to a military office building.
Project Highlights
- Hazardous material (led and asbestos) abatement.
- Steel erection for an added upper level office mezzanine.
- Interior framing for requested office spaces.
- Complete replacement of existing electrical, communications, and HVAC systems
to accommodate demands for new building use.
- Complete replacement of fire suppression and fire alarm systems to meet current code requirements.
- All doors and windows were replaced to make the building more energy efficient.
- All new insulation was applied to make the building more energy efficient.
- Existing parking lot was resurfaced.
- The office building received all new finishes (carpet, ceiling grid and tile, interior
and exterior paint, ect.) to make the structure more aesthetically pleasing.
